BC Employment Program

  • The BC Employment Program assists ministry clients in communities throughout B.C. to find and keep jobs through individualized employment services and supports.
  • The new program replaced the ministry's Job Placement and Training for Jobs Programs in July 2006.
  • Depending on client needs, service providers may deliver a range of services such as self-directed job searches, short workshops on writing resumes, job banks, support costs for work related expenses and short term certificate training, life skills and work experience.
  • The BC Employment Program also provides individualized support for clients needing English as a Second Language (ESL) training or Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol services.
